Paano Magluto Ng Talong Recipe

Talong Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork belly, cubed
  • 3 pieces medium eggplant, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce or patis
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Saute the onions and garlic.
Add and cook the ginger.
Add the pork meat and cook until light brown.
Cook the other side of the pork meat until soft and tender.
Add the eggplants.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
Make sure that the eggplants are soft and tender.
Mix in the coconut cream, fish sauce, chili pepper flakes, salt and black pepper to taste.
Simmer for another 7 to 10 minutes then serve hot with steamed white rice.
