How To Make Pork Asado Kapampangan
Pork Asado Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pound pork shoulders, cut into cubes
  • 1 medium onion, half of it chopped and half cut into strips or rings
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce or soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 piece of pork bouillon cube, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
In a large skillet, heat the oil.

Then saute the garlic and the onions for 3 minutes.

Add the pork meat and then cook each side for 5 minutes.

Turn and cook the other side.

Add the pork cube, oyster sauce, lemon juice, and water.

Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the pork is tender.

Add the potatoes and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.

Add the onion strips or rings and cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve Add the onion strips or rings and cook for 5 minutes. with steamed white rice on the side.
