How To Cook Pork Adobo Ilonggo Recipe
Pork Adobo With Oyster Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pork belly, cut into cubes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3 pieces bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
In a large skillet, saute the onions and garlic in oil.

Add the pork belly pieces.

Cover and cook for 7 minutes on each side.
Add the soy sauce, vinegar, water, and oyster sauce.

Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Stir to prevent meat from sticking and getting burned.

Add the bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste.  Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve this Pork Adobo Ilonggo Recipe with steamed white rice.
