Pan De Coco Filipino Recipe Ingredients

Here are the basic ingredients to make the dough and filling for Pan De Coco:

For The Pan De Coco Dough Ingredients:
  • 6 cups white enriched flour    
  • 2 cups warm water 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
For The Pan De Coco Filling Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup white sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups dessicated coconut
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 whole egg, beaten to be used for egg wash
In a skillet, add the butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla.  Mix well.
Add the coconut flakes.
Continue stirring until the mixture gets sticky.
Put risen dough on a floured surface, roll and divide it into 4 equal parts.
Roll and divide each part into 6 equal parts.
Flatten each dough using a rolling pin.
Add a tablespoon of the coconut mixture.
Gather the sides, twist, and form into rounded flat rolls.
Place 3 fork marks on each pan de coco dough.
Brush the surface with egg wash.
Bake Pandesal Dough Recipe in preheated 325 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Allow pan de coco to cool off before serving.
Serve Pan De Coco with milk.
