How To Cook Kalderetang Manok
Chicken Caldereta Ingredients:
  • 1 pound chicken pieces
  • 1 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 medium carrot, cubed
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cubed
  • 2 pieces long green chili peppers, sliced
  • 1/3 cup green olives
  • 2 cups Del Monte tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Del Monte pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce 
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
In a large skillet, saute the garlic and onions for 3 minutes.
Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes.
Turn the other side of the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
Mix in the tomato sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce,

potatoes, carrots,

and water.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the veggies are tender.
Add the green and red bell peppers, long green chili peppers, olives, salt, and pepper.
Cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with steamed white rice.
