How To Cook Bicol Express Recipe
Bicol Express Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pork belly, cubed
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 pieces green chili pepper, sliced diagonally 
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

Saute the onions, garlic, and ginger until caramelized.

Add the pork meat until oily and light brown in color.

Once the pork meat is cooked,

stir in the coconut milk, water, and fish sauce.

Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.  Continue cooking until sauce thickens.
