Paano Magluto Ng Bibingkang Malagkit Recipe
Malagkit Recipe Ingredients:

For the Malagkit Sweet Topping
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • dash of salt
For the Malagkit Rice Mixture
  • 2 cups glutinous rice, soaked in water for at least 1 hour
  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
Combine coconut milk, 1 cup of sugar, and a dash of salt in a pan over medium heat.

Stir to dissolve ingredients.

Continue stirring until mixture thickens.

Transfer sweet coconut topping in a bowl.

Then combine 1 can of coconut cream, 1 can of coconut milk, and rice in a pan.

Continue stirring until rice is cooked.

Add the brown sugar only when the rice is soft and smooth.

Pour the rice coconut mixture on a rectangular baking pan.

Spread the rice mixture evenly.

Pour the sweet coconut syrup on top.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Then bake it again at375°F for 5 minutes longer.

Allow to cool then cut into cubes before serving.
