How To Cook Arroz Caldo Recipe
Chicken Arroz Caldo Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken legs, thighs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece medium onion, chopped
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups uncooked white rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 piece chicken bouillon cube, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce or patis
  • 3 boiled eggs, whole or sliced 
  • 1 green onion, chopped 
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

Saute garlic, onion, and ginger until slightly brown.

Season with salt and pepper.

Add the chicken cube.

Add the chicken pieces and cook for 7 minutes on each side.

Add the rice.

Add the water.

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the fish sauce then cover and cook for 20 minutes.  Add more water if necessary.

When chicken is tender and rice is fully cooked, add the boiled eggs.

Cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with green onions.  Serve Arroz Caldo Recipe while still warm.
