Adobong Baka



How To Cook Adobong Baka
Adobong Baka Ingredients:
  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 3 pieces bay leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
In a large skillet, saute the garlic and onions for 5 minutes.

Add the beef meat pieces and cook for 8 minutes.
Turn and cook the other side for another 8 minutes or until light brown in color.

Add the soy sauce, lemon juice, vinegar, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt, pepper, and water.

Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender.

Add the potatoes.  Cover and cook for another 15 minutes.

Serve Adobong Baka with steamed white rice.
